Ownership
All datasets published on Ticker.id, including but not limited to podcast-mention data, ticker-level aggregations, and any derived metrics (collectively, the “Data”), are the exclusive property of Ticker.id (“we,” “us,” “our”). The Data is protected by copyright, database rights, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the Data through Ticker.id for your personal, non-commercial reference only.
No other rights are granted. Specifically, you may not, without our prior written consent:
- Copy, reproduce, or republish the Data, in whole or in part, on any other website, platform, or service
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract the Data using automated means
- Redistribute, sell, sublicense, rent, or lease the Data to any third party
- Use the Data to build, train, or fine-tune a competing product, dataset, or machine learning model
- Aggregate the Data with other sources for commercial resale or syndication
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices contained within the Data

Third-Party Data
Some Data displayed on Ticker.id may be sourced or derived from third-party providers under separate license terms. Where applicable, those terms take precedence over this license with respect to the relevant Data, and are noted alongside the source where required.
Personal Data of Named Individuals
Certain Data (including podcast-mention records) may identify named individuals, such as podcast hosts or guests, in connection with publicly available broadcast content. This identification is incidental to reporting on public commentary and is not intended to profile, contact, or make decisions about those individuals.
This license governs your right to use the dataset — it does not itself constitute our privacy notice for how we collect or process personal data. Handling of personal data (including any rights an identified individual may have to access, correct, or request removal of references to themselves) is addressed in our Privacy Policy, not this license.
If you are an identified individual (e.g., a named host or guest) and wish to inquire about a reference to yourself, or if you intend to use the Data in a way that involves processing personal data about identified individuals (e.g., building a profile database of hosts/guests), you are separately responsible for your own compliance with applicable privacy law (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) in your jurisdiction and the individual’s — this license does not grant you any right to process personal data beyond viewing it as published.

No Warranty
The Data is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Ticker.id is not liable for any decisions made in reliance on the Data.
Enforcement
Unauthorized use of the Data may result in termination of access and legal action. We actively monitor for unauthorized scraping and redistribution of our datasets.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This license is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from this license will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
If you access the Data from outside this jurisdiction, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, including any restrictions on cross-border data transfer.
International Users
- European Economic Area / UK users: Database and copyright protections for the Data may also arise independently under the EU Database Directive (96/9/EC) and equivalent UK law (Copyright and Rights in Database Regulations 1997), in addition to the contractual restrictions above. Where the Data contains any personal data, our separate Privacy Policy (not this license) governs its processing under UK/EU GDPR.
- California users: Nothing in this license limits rights you may have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) with respect to personal data collected about you as a user of Ticker.id — see our Privacy Policy. This license concerns the licensed Data itself, not personal data collection.
- Other jurisdictions: Database and IP protection frameworks vary by country. Where local law provides stronger protection than stated here (e.g., sui generis database rights), we reserve those rights; where local law provides mandatory user protections that conflict with a clause above, the local mandatory provision controls solely to the extent required, without invalidating the rest of this license (see Severability below).

If you believe content on Ticker.id infringes your copyright, or if a third party is redistributing our licensed Data without authorization, notify us at:

Relationship to Our Terms and Conditions
This license supplements, and does not replace, our general Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of Ticker.id as a whole (account use, acceptable use of the site, disclaimers, limitation of liability, etc.). Where a provision in this license specifically addresses use of the Data and conflicts with a general provision in the Terms and Conditions, this license controls solely with respect to the Data.
Severability
If any provision of this license is found unenforceable in a given jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
Changes to This License
We may update this license from time to time. Continued use of Ticker.id after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
