Just got taken over by T. Rowe Price.
Ben Carlson — Animal Spirits Podcast · Are Free Markets Dead? (EP. 479) · 2026-08-26Yeah. So I don't mind having a little bit, but I wouldn't go overboard with that exposure. Let's go answer another YouTube question. Paul Brown says, I held TROW for 3 years. It's paid a good dividend. Dividend looks to be secure, but I'm down 9% from what I paid for it. Fundamentals are strong, but the market doesn't seem to like the stock. Is it time to sell to avoid further declines in price? What do you think, Luke? T. Rowe Price.
Justin Klein — InvestTalk · Ray Dalio's Debt Crisis Warning: Is the US Heading for a Fiscal Breaking Point? · 2026-08-26T. Rowe Price, big asset manager. Uh, obviously a lot of the revenue coming from the investment advisory business, probably like 70% of the revenue maybe coming from the investment advisory business. At the same time, margins, or rather fees, tend to be compressing over the past decade. Revenue is only at 3.3% growth on an annualized basis. EBIT is down over the past 5 years. Net income is down. Earnings per share down 1.5%. I think there was a peak out in 2021 at about $13.12 was their earnings per share. You know, I like this part of the financial services sector. They have what, over $1 trillion, $1.7 trillion? Big, big asset manager. But the trends for this specific company kind of, kind of trying to fight against the currents of fee compression has been pretty difficult.
Luke Guerrero — InvestTalk · Ray Dalio's Debt Crisis Warning: Is the US Heading for a Fiscal Breaking Point? · 2026-08-26We do. The sponsor is FM Invest. And I just want to say a big, big congratulations to the entire FM Invest team. Alex Morrison squad. They just got bought by T. Rowe Price. A little asset management company. Maybe you heard of them, and it's been a pleasure working with them. Just great people over there. All right, so this podcast, as I said, is sponsored by FM Investments and SGVA, the FM Accumulator Ultra Short Treasury ETF. Most ultra short treasury ETFs pay out monthly cash distributions that investors don't need and don't want. Those distributions come as taxable income that must be reinvested. After taxes. Well, here's an ETF built to solve that problem. It's the FM Accumulator Ultra Short Treasury ETF, ticker SGVA. SGVA is structured to avoid unwanted taxable distributions and harness the power of compounding inside the ETF. So instead of monthly distributions, you stay invested in ultra short treasuries and you choose when to redeem based on your personal cash needs. SGVA, built to grow, not distribute. Michael Batnick — The Compound and Friends · Bubble bursts in 2027, Nvidia earnings preview, Materials sector set-up, AirBnB takes flight · 2026-08-25This podcast is sponsored by FM Investments and SGVA, the FM Accumulator Ultra Short Treasury ETF. A quick congratulations to Alex and the FM team. Joining forces with T. Rowe Price. We're excited to see what this next chapter brings for FM and its innovative approach to fixed income investing. That innovation is particularly relevant when you look at how ultra-short Treasury ETFs are typically structured. Most pay out monthly cash distributions that investors don't need, don't want. Those distributions come as taxable income that must be reinvested after taxes. Here's an ETF to solve that problem: the FM Accumulator Ultra Short Treasury ETF, ticker SGVA. SGVA is structured to avoid unwanted taxable distributions and harness the power of compounding inside the ETF. Instead of monthly distributions, you stay invested in ultra-short treasuries, and you choose when to redeem based on your personal cash needs. SGVA, built to grow, not distribute. Todd Sohn — The Compound and Friends · Why Every Trader on Earth is Watching the 10-Year Treasury Now with Nick Colas · 2026-08-24Hello, InvestTalk. This is Joe from Brooklyn. I'm calling in regards to an international fund. I'm looking for international exposure, and I'm choosing between either ETF or a mutual fund. The mutual fund I was looking at was T. Rowe Price TRIGX International Fund or an iShares fund. IXUS, which is an iShares Core International. I would like your take on which one would be a better choice. Look forward to your answer on that. And thank you very much for your service. Okay.
Speaker D — InvestTalk · The dollar's slide and what it does to your foreign holdings · 2026-08-21Why don't we start with TRIGX, which is the T. Rowe Price International Value Fund. Pretty expensive, 63 basis points. It tracks the World ex-US Large Cap Value Index. Looks like over the past year it's underperformed. It's underperformed on the 3-year, the 5-year, and the 10-year. So this is a fund that is perennially underperforming its benchmark, but it's trying to give you a bit of value exposure, and it's really only focused on the large-cap space. Now let's look at IXUS, which is, uh, you know, it gives you an extremely broad portfolio of international securities. It is not just within large caps, it also invests in mid and small caps, and its expense ratio is 7 basis points. It has outperformed its benchmark on the 1-month, quarter-to-date, 3-month, year-to-date, 1-year time frame, really all across the board. From what I'm seeing here in terms of its performance. Its benchmark is an IMI, which is an investable market index, so it's going to include large, small, uh, and, and mid-caps as well. I mean, if you're trying to get pure international exposure, and both of these are ex-US funds, I'm definitely going to lean towards IXUS for multiple reasons. One, gives you small and mid-cap exposure, and two, it's like 55 basis points cheaper and does pretty well compared to its benchmark over the long term. That is IXUS and TRIGX. My vote goes for IXUS. Thanks for the call. Looks like we got plenty of time. Maybe a question on ETFs.
