  1. Added to resources, it's funding its bigger prize with near-term cash flow. Its Ferguson Island project will bankroll Feni Island project, which sits roughly 150 kilometers from Newmont's Lahere mine. One of the largest gold mines in the world with reserves of 15.8 million ounces at 2.41 grams per ton. So how similar is Feni and Lahir? Tim Crossley, he is managing director. Tim, welcome to Mining Stock Daily.

  2. Have you done any metallurgical work on Fenny? Now, Newmont, Sahir, uses a refractory autoclave circuit. You did mention in your project page that you both share geothermal energy sources, which Newmont has developed for doing the processing at Lahir. I believe that that type of rock can be an energy-intensive process.

  4. This is an upgrade from the $825 million letter of interest issued in April of last year. The preliminary project letter is not a binding commitment, with XM's final board consideration expected in the spring of 2027. Ivanhoe Electric is targeting the release of an updated pre-feasibility study for Santa Cruz this September. It trades on the TSX and the NYSE American, both under the symbol IE. Silver Bow Mining has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Jefferson County metallurgical complex in Montana through a bankruptcy sale for roughly $28.6 million in cash payments to creditors plus contingent value rights. The acquisition is strategically important because the 1,000-ton-per-day circuit is expected to be suitable for processing the high-grade mineralization from Silver Bow's Rainbow Block project in nearby Butte, which hosts an inferred resource of 11.5 million tons grading 14.8 ounces per ton silver equivalent, totaling 170 million silver equivalent ounces. Silver Bow Mining trades on the NYC American with SBMT. Enduro Metals has completed its inaugural 2,700-meter drill program at the Andre Copper-Gold Porphyry target at the Newmont Lake project in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia, with drill core hole logging identifying two distinct mineralizing systems across the 4-kilometer combined geophysical anomaly that included porphyry-style alteration and quartz sulfide veining in one hole interpreted as the peripheral expression of a porphyry system, and low sulfidation epithermal-style veining at the northeast anomaly. Assay results are pending, with the program having tested a geochem and geophysical target that sits within a larger 14-kilometer magnetic high trend. Enduro Metals trades on the Venture Exchange with ENDR and on the OTC with ENDMF. And Goldheart Copper announced results from their first comprehensive geochemical soil survey at the Nessa complex in Chile. The company says the survey successfully identified multiple zones of anomalous gold, copper, and silver, as well as associated pathfinder elements. The Goldheart technical team is now integrating all these anomalies together with other geological observations in order to build a comprehensive interpretation. The element associations observed to date are compatible with polymetallic epithermal-style mineralization. Goldheart Copper trades on the TSXV with HART. All right. 5. Yeah. This kind of links with what I said before, which is you should own gold. We own it through the miners. We buy individual miners, but if you don't want to do the research, you want to just own some of the large miners that are out out there, this is a good collection of them. The top holding is Agnico Eagle, then Newmont, Barrick, Wheaton Precious Metals, Franco-Nevada's in there, Kinross Gold, some of the bigger names with market caps in the tens, if not hundreds of billions of dollars. So yes, I think this is a good way to get exposure, especially if you have none. Now, should you do cash-secured puts? Well, the issue with that is that you may not get assigned unless there's a large pullback in gold and gold miners, which certainly could happen. We've had a good run as of late. It had support back in July, early July. What do we bottom out at? About $70 per share. Now we're already up to $102 and change, and that's just in the past few weeks. So it's a little bit overbought in the short term. Would like to see a bit more bit of volatility, a bit of pullback just to get back in. But once again, are you going to get put it exactly? I don't know if that's really going to happen. So I think adding cash-secured puts is not a bad idea, but I wouldn't use that as a sole way to get in because you may not get assigned. And yeah, you'll keep a little of that premium on the put, but you want upside. That's what this is about. There's a lot of volatility. You have to know that. You have to know that volatility is the name of the game in the miner, in the gold miner world, any of the commodity stocks, they have high volatility. You have to be comfortable with that. But in an environment like this where debasement is the name of the game of, of our financial system, there's the right tail of that volatility that is being experienced right now. And the right tail is the positive outcome. Most people, when they hear volatility, they think left, they think left tail, they think negative. But this is the right tail and things are looking up for the space.

  6. Yeah, no, thanks a lot, Trevor. And really exciting times for K2 here. All 3 of those holes were off the same drill pad. So a true 40-meter step out into untested ground, uh, on the Dragonfly target area and really starting to stretch that strike length out. I think at the Dragonfly target alone, we're over 400 meters of strike length. Uh, you know, 39.6 at 5.35 grams, that's a 211-gram-meter interval. So pretty, really happy to get that out there. And the other holes there were very strong as well, you know, 10.67 meters at 7.7 grams, 18.29 at 3.77 grams. It's, uh, it's, you know, we're seeing, um, you know, close to underground grades and sometimes exceeding underground grades in an oxide gold deposit. So mineralization starts at surface and pretty rare for an oxide gold deposit to, uh, get down to you know, 200 meters in depth. So really happy with the way things are looking. We're getting down to the Newmont target area. So that's 3.5 kilometers south of Dragonfly and part of a 6.5 kilometer long corridor of mineralization. So very happy. A lot of results to come and we'll keep on crushing through this. Yeah.

  7. Uh, the one thing that surprised us is it looks like the structure is steepening up a bit. So our highlight hole from the previous round of K2's drilling at the Dragonfly target was, uh, that 87 meters at 4 grams. You know, the core interval of that's, uh, about 49 or I guess 45.7 meters. Of 6.68 grams. So, you know, pretty similar between the core of it, uh, but it does steepen up about 10 degrees. So that was a bit of a surprise to us, but not a huge surprise because we know down at the Newmont target area, like I said, 3.5 kilometers south, uh, it's much more flat lying down there. So at Newmont, the structure is about 30 degrees, and then it steepens up as you head north. So it looks like it's continued to continuing to steepen up as we move north into untested ground. But great to see the continuity here. And, you know, I think it's really important to note that this is not one structure. They're parallel stack structures. And when you look at the cross-section in the news release there, uh, you can see the lower-grade blips, uh, in the holes downhole. There's 2 to 3, uh, other structures that we're tagging down there. And nice to see the grades increasing on those as you get near the surface. So Yeah. No real surprises, but just great, you know, when you're stepping out on something into untested ground, especially after all the effort we put in to get back to work here, there's always a little bit of anxiety around that, but, you know, we're really happy to see it coming through and holding together the way we expected it to. All right.

  8. No, I think we definitely are confirming that. Exactly what you just said, Trevor. Uh, we're confident in our targeting. Like, I guess the bigger picture here is when the fluids intruded into this system, uh, the country rock that they intruded into is an absolute sponge for mineralization. So, you know, you couldn't have picked or dreamt up a better host rock for, for that, those fluids to intrude into. And, uh, you know, it's all structurally controlled. There's one major fault that runs through this corridor that we're, we're expanding out on right now. And, you know, it's a conglomerate mesa fault system, it's called. And that's the main structure. But there are a number of cross-cutting structures on that. So, yeah, I think we're— we've confirmed that the system does extend and that's the entire point of this drill program that's underway right now is to continue expanding out on that, testing these parallel structures, expanding the width of this corridor corridor mineralization that we see. As it stands now, it's at least 400 meters wide, and as I mentioned, 6.5 kilometers long. So, you know, previously we talked about it being a 5-kilometer-long corridor. That's from the Newmont to Gold Valley target areas. Uh, but if you include the Flores target, which is almost due east of Newmont at the south end of the trend, uh, there's an additional kilometer and a half of strike length there. So that's— if people are wondering where this additional kilometer and a half of strike length came from, it's the vertical from Newmont to Gold Valley and then the horizontal from Newmont out to Flores that adds the additional kilometer and a half. So, you know, along with that, we've got a couple other targets. One very interesting one is to the west of the Dragonfly target area. It's a, it's a parallel structure, the Beasley target, we, we call it after the geologist Lee Beasley that took the initial samples there. But we've got rocks grading up to 14.5 grams per tonne gold, and that's very similar to what we see at the, in surface samples anyways, at the Dragonfly target area. Flores as well has produced some tremendously high-grade rock samples. So it's, Flores is really shaping up to look like another Dragonfly-style target. So really excited to get out and test that as well.
