Yeah, good. That's what I would do. Sit down with them and they'll help you do those rollovers and help you get everything kind of smoothed up and piled up in one pile to watch it. But the good news is the projections you were given are probably pretty accurate. I think you're probably going to have $4 million or more. And you're gonna pay for a house also, so that's probably gonna be another couple million by the time we get there. And so you've just chosen a wonderful career field. Your move to Tampa was a brilliant move. Everything about this whole story is so smart from you. Yeah, you've just, you've just really done some very wise things. So I'd get a SmartVestor Pro, and like Rachel said, I'd do those rollovers and do the Roth 401 with the match up to 15%. Everything else goes on your house till your house is paid off. And then keep your emergency fund set aside of 3 to 6 months. Every other thing you got, throw it at the house. That other account that you've got, I'd throw it at the house too.
Dave Ramsey · The Ramsey Show · Your Money Habits Matter More Than Math · 2026-10-06Right. And where you guys are at salary-wise, it's about $2,000 a month that you can be investing for retirement. And if you guys don't retire early and you retire at, say, 60 years old, and you do this every single month, this was crazy. And again, this means that you haven't gotten a raise or anything, which is not gonna happen. You will continue to grow your income and be investing more, but it sits at right about $5.6 million.
Rachel Cruze · The Ramsey Show · Your Money Habits Matter More Than Math · 2026-10-06Uh, he encouraged me to move to get a smaller place. It was less upkeep and less work, but right now, and from all the wise advice I've heard over the decades, don't make any quick decisions for at least a year. So I'm trying to abide by that. And all of our memories are here in this house. We've lived here since we married. Yeah, it should be hard to leave that.

Scott Trench · BiggerPockets Money · How Much Can You Safely Withdraw in Early Retirement? | Christine Benz · 2026-10-06So you could say, well, maybe I can't afford to get a Mac Studio and, you know, this equipment because I want to start a podcast or I want to do AI research and I could use a really powerful computer and, uh, I want to buy some software and then, you know, I just want to increase my skills or I want to take some courses, etc. So Buying time and then being able to build skills would be an obvious one. Uh, the second one is obviously start a company. The third is put the money away, uh, and invest it wisely. So, and become like, say, an angel investor or a public markets investor. That's what you can do with capital. So it would depend on if you want to invest in yourself, you want to invest in markets, you want to invest in other people, uh, or you want to invest in yourself via a company because you see, you can, That's what you have to think about. Are you investing in yourself with that $500K? Are you investing in other people? And some people like to be professional investors. I enjoy it, but I also like to invest in myself.
Jason Calacanis · This Week in Startups · Jason Mentors The Next Generation + Why AI Is Bad at Teaching (Aristotle Interview) | E2346 · 2026-10-05Yeah, I think Shopify is a great example of a business that has been sold off a bit, particularly early this year. The stock's down still about 8% from a year ago. Certainly, the business went through quite a lot of volatility share price-wise earlier the year, the stock bottomed out under $100 a share. Now it's trading around $150 a share. I'm a long-term holder of Shopify, and I think a lot of this has been around the concerns of how commerce and agentic commerce is going to disrupt the e-commerce space broadly. And of course, Shopify, with its platform that helps, you know, merchants around the world, is sort of the epitome of, I think, that fear that we're seeing. But again, you know, the point that Matt makes, looking for businesses where the growth story is still there. You know, this is not about buying a business because the share price has dipped or the valuation looks low compared to a year ago. Obviously that can be a favorable thing as a long-term investor. You want to make sure, you know, are the cash flows there?

Speaker J · Squawk on the Street · 11AM Hour: Dan Niles on Tech, Brazil Stocks Rally & AI Hearing Today 10/5/26 · 2026-10-05And we had dated for about 2 years, you know, basically, and, uh, just, you know, continuing our friendship, which was awesome, which is a great thing to not just jump into a heavy relationship or whatnot. Um, she was divorced, I was in the whole same process, and so it was just very slow, but So we finally reached that point. I asked her to marry me on the horse. My horse did take a big pee when that one, when it was all done, which is part of the greatness of the whole day. And, and a friend of mine who at that point in time was this, I was going to this church and this guy, he had been involved in my son's school and he was just this great friend, man. A guy named George Grant. And he was very wise in my view. And prior to that, not too long, I pulled up to a gas pump and he was right there. And he looked at me and we were talking a little bit and he goes, "Cactus, so how's it going with Wayanada?"
Cactus Moser · The Shawn Ryan Show · #345 Wynonna Judd - Dolly Parton, Naomi Judd's Death & Finding Her Biological Father · 2026-10-05And I said, "Well, you know, George, I'm just taking it slow. And, you know, I'm just trying to be wise about everything." And he goes, he looked right at me and he goes, "You know, I've watched you for 7 years." try and do the right thing always, and just always be moving through it slowly. He was, I'm gonna say, tell you something, don't let a good one get away. And that was like my moment of going, whoa. So I thought he would say the exact opposite, like, sure, take it slow and be, you know, I mean, it's still been, we'd been dating for a year and a half or something. And I went, wow. Well, if George says that, that's kind of big. There maybe is my God moment of going, hmm, Lord, give me a sign. And then going, well, besides George, what's another sign? I didn't want to go there. So shortly thereafter, I thought, okay, I better figure this out and make some moves. So we did that, ask her. And during that time, I always made the joke.
Cactus Moser · The Shawn Ryan Show · #345 Wynonna Judd - Dolly Parton, Naomi Judd's Death & Finding Her Biological Father · 2026-10-05Yeah, so far it doesn't sound like he's doing anything malicious. It sounds like you just don't care, and so you're like, ah, I'm good, he's got it covered. But it's wise to have him explain what's going on in the pay stub. Explain to me what taxes are taken out, what retirement's going, what am I invested in. I think what'll actually bond you as a couple if you both had that purview. And I think he'd appreciate it because he wants to nerd out on this stuff with you, but you've let him know, I don't really care.
George Kamel · The Ramsey Show · Make A Plan Your Future Can Trust · 2026-10-05Okay, nice. I would continue investing 15% of whatever your income is until that house is paid off. I would not lower it to 8%. I know you have a good starting point with that $200 grand, but I think that muscle's too important to not let it atrophy by going, well, I could invest less, I can go down to 8%. I think there's something very wise about investing no matter what. And if you have too much money in retirement later on down the road, you can call back and send me hate mail. I'm fine with that.
