Panettiere recently revealed struggles with postpartum depression and addiction, which she said led her to give up sole custody of her daughter. The cause of death is under investigation. She was just 36 years old. And Sony announced that Spider-Man: Brand New Day just crossed $2 billion at the global box office after just 3 weeks in theaters. That's the second fastest movie to hit that milestone, behind only Avengers: Endgame, which did it in 11 days. Adjusted for inflation, only 8 movies have ever grossed more than $2 billion worldwide. There's another crazy thing I didn't know. He owned, you know, he had that vast music catalog that he bought, right, of music publishing, right? He owned the Beatles. Beatles. Eminem. He bought Eminem. Eminem made fun of him in a video, and he bought Eminem's fucking catalog. He said, fuck you. The most pimp move ever. I'm gonna buy all your fucking music. Gangster. Yeah, yeah, right? So he owns his catalog, right? It's, it's, it's— I think he might have owned Dylan. It was crazy that the, the rights to the music that he owned was nuts, right? He's with Sony. Sony wants the publishing back on all these artists, and he owns it. And when he did his last album, he had to take out a loan against the record company of $200 million to do the album because he didn't have a lot of money left. And they said, you got to put up collateral. And he goes, all right, I'm gonna— I'll put up a portion of the catalog as collateral. And then he— before he died, he He goes, "They're not promoting my album. And because they're not promoting my album, it's not selling." And then everybody close to him said it was a ruse. They didn't promote the album on purpose so that he would lose the fucking catalog because he wouldn't be able to pay the loan back. And then right after that, he died. Really fucked up.
