Leslie Picker — Squawk on the Street · 11AM Hour: Nvidia Earnings on Deck, Barclays Global Head of Tech Investment Banking & Citi Opens Positive Catalyst Watch on Oracle 8/26/26 · 2026-08-26Yeah, so I think Oracle is basically seeing a historic sell-off since last earnings. We're talking a 4 to 5 standard deviation move. We think a lot of that is driven by some technical selling factors. They've been raising money through this at-the-market equity issuance. So you basically have a scenario where you have washed-out positioning, stocks near the lows. At trough valuations. And I think specifically what we're looking forward to over the next 90 days is you have earnings coming up, which we think they are benefiting from some of the similar dynamics that the Neo Clouds have been talking about— better pricing, better margins. And so you have earnings and their Investor Day at the end of October where we actually think they can come out and raise numbers. And so this stock, you know, it's down 25% on the year. It's got a lot of good exposure to the AI infrastructure buildout. It's one of the few names that's actually down on the year. And we think that they're going to be growing revenue and earnings over 30% over the next few years. So we think it's a good opportunity here at a mid-teens earnings multiple.
Tyler Radke — Squawk on the Street · 11AM Hour: Nvidia Earnings on Deck, Barclays Global Head of Tech Investment Banking & Citi Opens Positive Catalyst Watch on Oracle 8/26/26 · 2026-08-26Yeah. So I think as you look at Oracle, they kind of have a piece of the software business that's well positioned. I would say that's their database business. So the stuff where, you know, they've historically been very dominant in that, those types of businesses are getting rerated in the market. You look at Snowflake and some of the, you know, Palantirs of the world, the applications business for them, right? That's where they would compete against a Workday or Salesforce, etc., right? Those are the the, the parts the market has perhaps more issues with. What I would say, though, is you look at their growth rate in applications, they're actually gaining share. They're growing faster than Salesforce and Workday in their respective areas. And I think they actually are doing some interesting things embedding AI directly into those products. So I would say they're better positioned versus some of the others in the software space given they have the database mix and then their apps business. Business is actually growing faster than their peers.

Don't miss the analyst behind that call with us next hour. Currently, Oracle shares up by about 2%. Meantime, Boston Scientific is under pressure after reporting a cybersecurity incident that they say is expected to cause, quote, disruptions and limitations to access to company products, and that a, quote, timeline for full restoration is not yet known.
