  1. Absolutely. I mean, the older I get, the shorter the years seem to be. I mean, it's, Already October 2nd when we're doing this. And I can still remember at the beginning of the year and expecting that the year before was so fast that this one would, would be almost as fast. But I think part of that just kind of getting older, kind of been there, done it, and just, you know, it's like Groundhog Day, you know, things that you're experiencing now you've experienced several times before. But I think the future is coming at us a lot faster. Than anyone imagined 10 years ago, certainly 20 years ago, 30 years ago. You know, we could watch these science fiction movies, you know, go back to Star Trek, you know, well, there was always Star Trek on TV, but we also had 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  3. It's great. It's just like an all-night, it's like The Odyssey, but a guy in Tribeca in the '80s stuck all night. And it's fucking hilarious. It's a comedy. It's really funny. But the idea that you're stuck out all night and I don't know, I like— I still like an adventure every once in a while.

  4. And I go get takeout and I go to my office, and like Achilles in his tent, I pout in my office and eat my takeout with my plastic fork. Maybe not exactly like Achilles, but something— I wanted to get an Odyssey— well, I wanted to get an Iliad reference in here somewhere. So we get to the restaurant, and how do we decide what each of us is going to eat? We could— each person could look at the menu and make a proposal. We could discuss the merits of the different dishes, and then we could vote about which of those all of us will order.

  5. And it's not like a long drawn out conversation where I give them a lesson about interpreting Odyssey for their life. It's, it's, hey, what'd you do today? How'd you do on the biology test? Bitch, you're not working on paying for everything. You need to do better. And then, you know, who, who are they playing this weekend? What's What's going on? All right. Have a good rest of the night. I love you. It, as long as it's quick and crisp.

  9. Yeah, so I have 4 now and some of them are linked to my business. So Deep Tech New York, 450 people talking about the most fundamental deep tech trends that are happening out there, material science, things like that. Then I have one, Digital Health New York, which is next week, then Doc. And then I have one that's called Odyssey, which is just ideas that's less commercial and just getting 100 very smart people together. And I look at that as more intellectual nourishment. I don't think of it as directly generating business. If I meet fascinating people in different areas, good things will happen. Some of them may be business-oriented and some of them may not be.

  10. Yeah. No, for example, I'm leading 20 people as part of Odyssey to China in a month. And the theme is, what does China do better? There are things they do worse, but there are things they do better. And I haven't been in a long time. I don't do a lot of business in China, so I just felt like I need to see that. And so I'm bringing heads of VC firms, a bunch of interesting people on that trip. We did one, took 16 people skiing that are off-piste skiers to a place in Val d'Isère. Fascinating conversations in the afternoons. I'm going to take 30 people to Switzerland on a hiking trip next May. Anytime I'm surrounding myself with great people and we structure it in a good way that these conversations are happening, then I'm going to get a lot out of it.

  15. How is Hollywood processing the— it seems like TVs in a rough spot, but it feels like it's starting to be a good year for movies, at least financially. I mean, we had the 3 breakout sort of like crossover YouTubers Obsession, Iron Lung, Backrooms. Then you have $2 billion outcomes with The Odyssey and Spider-Man. And then you're going into the back half of the year. It's tech focused and you get the Theranos Elizabeth Holmes documentary. There's an OpenAI movie, there's another Facebook movie, like at least from my world, I feel like there's more stories around the movie business. But how is Hollywood perceiving this year? Will this be remembered as like a good year for the movie making business potentially?
