Among active stocks, Eli Lilly announced results from a real-world study involving more than 15,000 adults over the age of 55, finding that long-term use of its blockbuster weight-loss therapy, Zepbound, was linked to lower healthcare costs over time. Excluding the cost of Zepbound itself, sustained use of the injectable was associated with $181 in healthcare savings per patient over 6 months. Citi added a 90-day Catalyst Watch to Oracle, Analyst Tyler Radke says he sees opportunity after one of the most extreme dislocations and drawdowns in the stock's history, driven by investor capitulation and multiple technical selling factors. And Abercrombie Fitch is soaring nearly 40% on record net sales that surpassed Wall Street's expectations and led the fashion retailer to boost its outlook for the year and increase share buybacks to $500 million. And in other news of note, watching every single NFL game this season will be an expensive proposition. To see every snap of the season, a fan would need to stitch together as many as 6 or 7 separate subscriptions with a total bill well above $600. Back in my day, we got 2 Sunday games and Monday Night Football, and we were thankful for it. Broadcasters carrying NFL games this year include CBS, Fox, ESPN, ABC, NBC, Peacock, Prime Video, Netflix, and NFL Network. That's all for today's Wall Street Lunch. Kim Kahn — Wall Street Breakfast · Meta settles kids addiction case for $12.7B · 2026-08-26Yeah. I don't know anybody who, when you first learn about this, anybody that I want to talk to, when you first learn about this stuff, you don't go, whoa, you know, because it's— it is so interesting. And, um, that's why to me the reaction to Graham Hancock's Netflix series was so strange, like so unhinged. Like, why, why are you guys freaking out about this and calling it the most dangerous show?
Joe Rogan — The Joe Rogan Experience · #2546 - Michael Button · 2026-08-26Well, the very first thing I would say is don't feel guilty of something that you were not taught because the system taught us to consume and to look at debt as it being normal. And so let's look at the system, right? They reward you with an 800 credit score to borrow money, but your credit score has nothing to do with the financial portfolio portfolio that you have invested. Your credit score has nothing to do with how much money you have in your savings account. Your credit score doesn't have anything to do with how much money and income you have. You can be a homeowner and have, you know, all this equity that doesn't go towards your credit score, but they reward you for how much debt you have, how often you use the debt, how low you can keep the debt below 30%. But they'll penalize you if you're someone like myself who doesn't even borrow from a consumer perspective, right? And so the system is rewarding you staying in the system, but they're not gonna reward you if you're staying out of the system. And so what I wanna encourage people is, hey, learn the game, right? And this is what I talk about in the book. Money is a game and you're either a piece in the game or you're the player in the game. And if you can learn how to play the game, for an example, I talk about how, yeah, you do need a sum of a credit score to make sure that you're not paying high car insurance rates and make sure you get the lower interest rates on your mortgage. Well, how do you get a credit score? Play the game. No, you don't have to borrow money. You can go out there and find different kind of programs out there that will put something on your credit report and you never borrowed anything for it. You may pay them $5 to report your— to report your Netflix account. Now that gets your credit score up. Now you're paying low car insurance, you're getting the lower interest rates, but you're not getting in debt. You're not playing their game, but you are playing the game. I love that. And so I think for me, we gotta be smart in how we're approaching, uh, this financial situation.
Anthony O'Neal — So Money with Farnoosh Torabi · 2027: From $6 to Seven Figures, Anthony O'Neal on the Proven Path to Wealth (Encore) · 2026-08-26Yeah. Okay. To me, it's like, uh, probably didn't need to happen. Uh, speaking of action movies, I was gone on a trip a week or two ago, and my kids, my son is always looking for new action movies. You're even starting to give me like, you're like, George has got to watch this movie, right? You're giving him some. So I walked in and they were watching Speed on Netflix and I'm like, I've seen it a million. I think I just rewatched it like a year ago and I'm like, I don't need to watch this. And I got pulled the last hour or so. I'm like, all right, you know what? And I just sat down and I watched the last hour and my God. And I saw that they just did it on the rewatchables too. So of course my kids watched Speed 2. Which at the time, since Keanu didn't do it, I didn't watch it. I had a one— remember back in the day there was no way to get movie— like, you maybe there's one movie review with Siskel and Ebert, but like it was all word of mouth. And I had one friend who went to see it and goes, it sucked, don't go see it. So I didn't, I didn't see it for like 10 years.
Ben Carlson — Animal Spirits Podcast · Are Free Markets Dead? (EP. 479) · 2026-08-26I would say developing, really rounding out and expanding on the core of Black Doctor and being able to step into places and spaces that we have traditionally not been in. I would say us being able to execute a stellar Black Doctor House experience in Cannes France with our partners at Novo Nordisk is something I'm super proud about. One, because it broadened our reach beyond just, uh, you know, the United States. It was our first international execution, so our brand got exposed to other Black communities, uh, that are over in Europe. And that to me is exciting as we look— as we think about how do we expand Black Doctors' Presence and become an internationally known brand, not just, uh, so North American focused. I would also say that, you know, it was exciting for us because it gave us the opportunity to really engage in a premium environment with so many different creators and healthcare professionals and executives and kind of convene and bring those two, what often seems to be disparate worlds together to really focus on how do we, how do we storytell around healthcare? How do we storytell around chronic conditions, especially within the Black community, and really start to make health more relatable, right? And give face and give voice to those that suffer oftentimes in silence. That was an opportunity where we had Ratman, who created Supercell, the Netflix hit show. We also had Ryan Clark, former Super Bowl champion, as well as a big advocate for sickle cell disease, talk about storytelling and talk about touching the community in unique ways to talk about a condition that, again, a lot of people suffer in silence with. But how do we bring that to the forefront and change the narrative, right? And do it in a creative but very authentic way. And so that, that, that for me is probably the most, one of the most proud moments over the last, you know, 6 to 18 months.
Akinwole Garrett — Becker’s Healthcare Podcast · BlackDoctor’s Vision for AI, Trust and Health Equity with Aki Garrett · 2026-08-26Okay, I think that, you know, you want to go cold Porter. I think it's Supermicro, anything goes. And that's the problem. I don't like anything goes, okay? I do not get my kicks from Supermicro, all right? Absolutely not. And I don't love Supermicro in the spring, summer, winter, or fall. Because as far as I'm concerned, it's got accounting problems. It didn't matter, there's bad accounting problems, it goes up 3 today. That's what's called a short squeeze. I don't wanna own Supermicro, okay? Let's go to— let's go to Truman in California. Truman. Hey, Jim, it's Truman from California. Long time, many times, but I'm calling for the very last time. You've made a very lonely little credit union quant dream come true. Compounding from May 2008 to February 2021, money I couldn't even dream about. I've left the grind and I started my own home office in Boca Raton, free and clear. Just by keeping your— just expanding on your styles, rules, and policies, you can go home, hug your wife, and say, "You made a man's dream come true, Jim." Thank you, Jim. I would if she would come home, I would do it. But that's great, Jim. It's a mitzvah. Maybe it's a mitzvah that she doesn't know. It is. It's a mitzvah. It's a mitzvah. David talks about it. Bar mitzvah. Some of the stock was a bar mitzvah stock yesterday. I don't know. But that's very nice of you. That made my day because it's a tough, tough business that I'm in. Thank you. Yep, go ahead. Yep, I'm in it now. Now to the business at hand. Uh, love this stock. It's a great social type of, uh, company. I think it's got synergies with another company. I'm not even looking for a merger. I own both of them, but it's a twofer. It's Reddit and if Netflix could have synergies with it.
Jim Cramer — Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 8/25/26 · 2026-08-25Okay. First of all, I'm going to do something really easy. I happen to like Netflix. I talk about that this morning, very morning. And I think Reddit is such a buy at $166. It's ridiculous. So with or without synergy, you've got what I regard as buy, buy, buy, buy, buy, buy. That's how I feel. And thank you for the kind comments. It kind of changed my view of today. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a portion of The Lightning Round.
Jim Cramer — Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 8/25/26 · 2026-08-25Holy cow, holy cow. All right, we're gonna make the case, uh, we'll do this quickly because, um, because, uh, Netflix and Spotify— put up Netflix. Credit to me. And I think you, you're still in this.
