Well, we own a lot of a company called Golar. Golar. Golar. G-O-L-A-R? Yep, GLNG is the ticker. And what Golar does is they have— they first were in shipping a long time ago and they kind of got out of shipping, but they have these boats. Right now they have four boats. And what these boats do is they pull up to a country like Argentina and convert the natural gas into liquid natural gas so then the gas can then go to the buyers around the world. And so, you know, you can either build a huge project like Cheniere does in Louisiana, which costs them probably between— Gabillions of dollars.
Porter Collins · The Real Eisman Playbook · The Big Short Partners Reunite: Rates, AI, Gold and Two Stock Picks | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 75 · 2026-09-14Premier League's Richard Masters speaking there. Chenier's decision comes after Kevin Lemoore was fired from his role as FIFA's chief operating officer on Monday, weeks after criticizing the investment plans. The next FIFA presidential election is in March, and Infantino plans to run for a third 4-year term, the last he could serve. And to the U.S. primaries now, where voters have been deciding who will represent Democrats and Republicans in key races for a range of political roles. In Florida, Trump-backed Representative Byron Donalds won the Republican nomination for governor. Here Here he is giving a victory speech.
Stephen Carroll · Bloomberg News Now · 'AI Tentacle’ Market Risk, US Primary Results, More · 2026-08-19Okay, that's terrific. What's the stock? Cheniere. Cheniere. Oh, the LNG kind? Uh, why don't you say— why don't you do— why don't you go by the C2P kind, which is the Cheniere Energy Partners, that has a lot of the good qualities that you want. That's the switch. You make it tomorrow. Let's go to Reed in Texas. Reed. Hey, Cramer, thanks for taking my call. No problemo. What's going on? Yeah, I'm curious about a stock that's been down but looks to be coming back. Do you think I should start a position in Tractor Supply? Look, I have no idea why that stock came down to 18 times earnings. It just— people just regard it as a housing play. It's not. And I just think that it's probably time to be able to start a position And don't go too big at once because the quarters have not been that good. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the conclusion of the Lightning Round! The Lightning Round is sponsored by Charles Schwab. Coming up, could a compute bond really become a thing? Kramer's weighing in on whether they'd be worth the paper they're printed on. Next! There are very few benefits to being old. When I went to Trinidad to fish for tarpon this elongated weekend, it took me forever just to scroll down to 1955, the Trinidad entry visa of my birth year. But the past has value, like my time spent at Goldman Sachs in the 1980s. Long ago. One thing I recall from my stay at the august investment bank was a presentation in 1985 about about auto securitization. Back then, Goldman decided— incredibly novel— to bundle auto loans into bonds, then sell them to wealthy individuals and institutions. I was one of the first to hear the presentation in an all-hands-down deck meeting. I was skeptical, talking about how quickly autos depreciate, how there are plenty of defaults in auto loans, how the repo man could destroy the bonds. Call me a skeptic, but I was wrong. I ended up selling the heck out of them. Well, those were the days of blind faith, where blind faith rewarded for both the client and the because they ended up offering a nicer yield than Treasuries without a lot of risk.
Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 8/11/26 · 2026-08-11One of Anas's strongest conclusions was that natural gas, and especially US LNG infrastructure, stands to benefit as countries prioritize secure energy supply while AI and data centers drive another leg higher in electricity demand. For this week's Trade of the Week, I want to express the theme through Cheniere Energy, symbol LNG, one of the cleanest US-listed ways to participate in that structural buildout. From a technical perspective, the timing is starting to look interesting. At the start of the year, Cheniere rallied roughly 60% into late March and then spent the next 3 months in a 25% correction lower. Now, through July, the stock rallied, reclaimed its 50-day moving average, and broke above the descending trend line from the March peak, suggesting that a correction may have already run its course and a new bullish phase may be starting. With LNG closing at $255.83, the cleanest expression is to simply buy the underlying shares, but because this is still early in the breakout, I want to add a short-term protective put to make sure the entry holds. The technical failure point sits at $240, so I'm looking at buying the $240 strike to put for $4.55, giving us 36 days of protection. The hedge costs roughly 1.8% of the stock price and creates a defined floor beneath the position during the fragile early stage of the breakout. So this is a straightforward way to stay long in Nasdaq's energy security thesis while limiting the damage if the technical reversal fails.
Patrick Ceresna · Macro Voices · MacroVoices #541 Dr. Anas Alhajji: Bab el-Mandeb: The Next Oil Chokepoint Nobody's Watching · 2026-07-16Uh, hey Jim, I was wondering what your thoughts are on Cheniere LNG. I've never I never lost faith in Cheniere. We actually were the first people in energy to deal with Cheniere, and they are still doing great things with LNG. And I want to continue to back them because I think we're going to own the LNG export market because we have the most of any country in the world. Kenny in Florida. Kenny. Hello, Uncle Jimmy. Hello, Kenny. Calling from beautiful Delray Beach, Florida. Oh, nephew, you know I love it there. Hey, next time you're down here, let's go down to Atlantic and get a drink. Oh, well, yeah, absolutely. At rooftop bar at that hotel right there.
Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 7/14/26 · 2026-07-14Yep. So I covered two of these midstream gas companies, Cheniere and Venture Global. Cheniere's ticker. They both do lng, but Cheniere was first and got to take.
Bob · The Real Eisman Playbook · Why Energy Stocks Are Down When They Should Be Up with Bob Brackett | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 60 · 2026-05-18So what does Cheniere do? Cheniere has two facilities. They're a few square miles each one of them sits.
Bob · The Real Eisman Playbook · Why Energy Stocks Are Down When They Should Be Up with Bob Brackett | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 60 · 2026-05-18So one of them sits. So if I take Cheniere and Venture, Glow will be comparable, but newer to the scene. So Cheniere sits there in Louisiana. It sits there down in Corpus Christi, Texas. And what they do is they go out around the world and they contract lng. So they will go to a German utility, a Japanese trading house, they'll go to Shell, an integrated gas oil company, and they will say, look, we'll promise this many cargoes of LNG at this fee.
Bob · The Real Eisman Playbook · Why Energy Stocks Are Down When They Should Be Up with Bob Brackett | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 60 · 2026-05-18into gas again, turns it back to gas and mostly into power, maybe to fertilizer, industrial use, whatever. And so the business model is a toll booth model. So Cheniere looks at what's my capacity, how many tons of this LNG can I liquefy? And they will contract 95% of that to third part.
Bob · The Real Eisman Playbook · Why Energy Stocks Are Down When They Should Be Up with Bob Brackett | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 60 · 2026-05-18And what Cheniere then does is you got this couple square miles. They buy gas from the US grid. So they're buying from this vast network of US gas, not from any one person, but from the network.
Bob · The Real Eisman Playbook · Why Energy Stocks Are Down When They Should Be Up with Bob Brackett | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 60 · 2026-05-18So the midstream model should always. It's a safer model. You've got other midstream gas companies in the US that are in the S&P 500. Cheniere has qualified to enter the S&P 500. I'm convinced that either there's a grand conspiracy or they'll get in this year. And, and generally gas midstream companies in The S&P 500 can trade down to a 5% free cash flow yield. And right now Cheniere's probably trading closer to an 8%. You're not taking geopolitical risk. You're recognizing your revenue in Louisiana. You're not taking price risk. It's a pass through model. Technologically they've been liquefying the gas. They're experts in developing and operating these facilities. And so on a risk adjusted basis it might not go up as much as a high flying high beta E and oil and gas company, but on a risk adjusted basis it's always been just the safest risk adjusted return.
Bob · The Real Eisman Playbook · Why Energy Stocks Are Down When They Should Be Up with Bob Brackett | The Real Eisman Playbook Ep 60 · 2026-05-18Chamath's point is absolutely correct. Natural gas reservoirs exist around the world and we've been loath to exploit them or develop them because of the climate change, carbon risks and issues. But I think what we're realizing is that those are luxury beliefs to an extent. You can only say, let's not exploit carbon resources until you hit a shockwave like this. And then people are like, wait a second, we really do need to have these systems up and running and we need to have excess capacity and local capacity in the system, because single points of failure for the whole world's food supply is not going to cut it anymore, particularly as the world is becoming more fragmented and multipolar and there's less US policing of the world. That's going to happen and so on. It's going to be very critical that everyone starts to think about doubling down, not just on energy production, but some of these other critical inputs like fertilizer and another output. Just as a quick side story on NAT gas production is when you pull NAT gas out of the ground, that's the primary place we find helium and helium. We're all waking up to the fact, you know, we never really think about helium. We think about kids, balloons at birthday parties. But helium goes into MRI machines, helium goes into semiconductor manufacturing, helium goes into mass spec machines that are used in chemical analysis with a lot of applications around the world. Helium is A critical input to medical equipment, to manufacturing equipment. And all of a sudden a third of the world's helium coming out of Qatar is not making it out. And so we're now going to have a helium supply shock that's going to affect the world. So we're starting to wake up to the fact that perhaps these NAT gas fields that we've allowed to kind of turn a blind eye and say let one country exploit them and let them make all the NAT gas the US is actively developing. I went down and visited that Chenier facility in Louisiana with Doug Burgum a couple months ago, which was an amazing sight to see where we do all the LNG exporting. But the US has extraordinary natural gas reserves. So do many other places in the world that have failed to take advantage of developing them. And I think we're realizing the criticality of doing so at this moment.

Yeah, I'm not a big investor trader like you guys, but that makes a lot of sense. I mean I think that's like intuitively to me that seems to be an area where people are going to be spending a lot of time and they're going to, they're going to have durability in those businesses. I think businesses like Nat Gas production. You know, I just bought lng, that Chenier company.
