Julie Morgan · Wall Street Breakfast · Oil's new chokepoint · 2026-09-14Doing great. Uh, my question's on a stock that, um, merged with another company back in 2015, and I've held it for a number of years. Luckily for me, uh, I actually sold the shares I had when it merged, and then I bought more back. But anyway, um, I'm calling about Kraft Heinz, and I was thinking about taking some tax loss selling in it.

Because it's not that I believe in the greater man theory, but this Steve, uh, Kalem who's the CEO. He saved Kellogg and made people a ton of money. He's going to do the same thing with Kraft Heinz. Let's give him a chance. Let's give him 6 months, okay? I think he'd appreciate that we give him 6 months. He's been in for a while, and he's a man— he's a person who really likes to get action. I don't leave it. Please don't leave Kraft Heinz. Let's go to Dell in Minnesota.

I mean, we know Kraft Heinz has talked about consumer weakness, consumer in the US and around the world still, despite some competing headlines about great job growth and other things, is under pressure. McCormick, the spice maker, the consumer backdrop, particularly in the US, is increasingly challenging. Kimberly-Clark says middle to lower income households are under increased pressure. Mondelēz CEO at the conference said there are some challenges. So I do think it matters where you sit. These are, you know, these are sort of the premium brands. We haven't heard much about trading down, for instance, to private label. But that is one area where we continue to hear like the consumer is not all that great.
