Exactly. And then I want to mention one that many of our, many of our viewers use. And I think they're going to be surprised that you and Robinhood have teamed up, which I know from the very beginning it could happen, but now is a reality.
Jim Cramer — Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 8/26/26 · 2026-08-26And I'll tell you about Robinhood. Well, first of all, you know how I feel that Vlad is, you know, I think very much the Steve Jobs of our time in financial services. I have never met an entrepreneur quite like that before. I've known him for a long time. And you may remember he went through a horrible crisis. But it transformed him. He became a great executive. And yes, he standardized on Salesforce and he uses Slack as well. And, you know, I have a huge amount of respect for him and the company and everything he's doing. It's so exciting. And I'll tell you, it's not just Robinhood in financial services. It's many other companies as well who have all made these deep commitments to Salesforce, like JPMorgan, like Bank of America. All of the largest financial institutions, Jim, are built on Salesforce, Department of the Army, on top of what, veterans?
Marc Benioff — Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer · Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 8/26/26 · 2026-08-26And not surprising news. I mean, I think this is well understood at this point. Morningstar had a report. These innovative ETFs have been disastrous for investors. The average leveraged and inverse single stock ETF has proved costly as regulators see comment on new table games possibly coming to the ETF casino. I mean, duh. No shit. Do you know on Robinhood now you can gamble on what Bitcoin will do over the next 15 minutes? Gosh, remember zero date, zero DTE options that expire the same day? That was quaint. Uh, there was an article in ETF—
Michael Batnick — Animal Spirits Podcast · Are Free Markets Dead? (EP. 479) · 2026-08-26Sure. So it got me thinking about the different type of instruments that we have available to us. And you juxtapose that against something that I saw in my Robinhood app, and I'm a big fan of Robinhood, use it every day. But I saw this and I just Shook my head, Josh. That's what I did. We've got no 15-minute markets. You are able to gamble on what the price of various cryptocurrencies will do over the next 15 minutes because this is America, damn it. And so then also later in the day or week, I saw Jeffrey Patak. Tweet that Defiance has registered 16 single stock ETFs that will reset their leverage on an hourly basis because who the hell could trade daily leveraged stocks? That is so boring.
Michael Batnick — The Compound and Friends · Bubble bursts in 2027, Nvidia earnings preview, Materials sector set-up, AirBnB takes flight · 2026-08-25Hi guys. Great show. Uh, I was calling about, uh, Robinhood. I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it. If it's time to get out of it, take some profits, or you think it's going to go a little higher. I'll be listening on the show. Thank you.
Speaker C — InvestTalk · Regulation catches up to digital assets · 2026-08-25Looking at Robinhood. Hood is the symbol, H-O-O-D. A name that's been up and down throughout the years, but as of late has been on a nice little rally despite crypto kind of meandering. Robinhood has done Okay, it's rallied from a low around $65 in— what was that, April? Now we're at $103, but it's still way down from its high back in the fall when it was at $150 and change. This year earnings supposed to be $1.9, $2.80 next year, but it's still $103 stock. The problem here to me is it's very reliant on the average investor. It's very going to be very exposed to the tech trade. And the tech trade has been, especially since June has been kind of struggling, not coincidentally. So has Robinhood. So I don't love that. I don't love that correlation. I don't love their, the fickleness of their user base. Retail investors, those that use the app and think it's a big game because they throw confetti every time you buy a stock, for example, their free cash flow still remains negative, very negative, about $7.8 billion, $93 billion market cap. So they continue to burn more and more capital. And that's to me, the biggest issue is just that negative free cash flow situation. And the, the valuation is not exactly cheap either. Enterprise Value/EVA looking forward is 43. So yes, I would take profits on Robinhood if you're up on it. I think this is, this little rally recently is a good exit point. Now we had a wonderful show on Friday. I looked into the story about financial innovation and how it's now a Fed problem. We broke down what tokenized money and instant payments could mean for the plumbing of the financial system, how it impacts banks, businesses, and much, much more. And we answered a listener question on SanDisk. And if you happen to miss it, go check it out. The best way to get every show is to, is to follow Invest Talk wherever you get your podcasts. Now we have a lot of ground to cover over the next 45 minutes or so, and time permitting, we'll get to all of it. Our main focus point is about regulations catching up to the digital asset world. Senate has delayed work on the Clarity Act.
Justin Klein — InvestTalk · Regulation catches up to digital assets · 2026-08-25What are you competing on? I guess is one question I wonder about. You see Interactive Brokers and they talk about, you know, low margin borrowing rates or whatever they might lead with or the technology or they're kind of like mini hedge funds. Robinhood, you got this kind of brand that came up with the meme stocks and they also have this sort of kind of all-in-one, you know, kind of gold subscription. So how do you go after a customer that they might otherwise want?
Mike Santoli — Squawk on the Street · 10AM Hour: U.S.-Canada Trade War, Webull U.S. CEO & Paramount-Warner Brothers Latest 8/24/26 · 2026-08-24That clip was like, I was shocked by that. I was like, really? Like in the age of ChatGPT 3.5, 2.5, I said on the pod, filibuster here a bit. I said on the pod, open source is going to win the day. And we, I think we talked about that 4 weeks ago on All In or 5 weeks ago. That was like a very interesting moment because that's what's happened now. The evidence. So back to my, like Jason's takes and just holding me accountable to my takes. Am I Professor Ice Cold Takes, Prof G, and Macy's is going to beat Amazon and Uber and Tesla and Robinhood are going to zero. And buy foreign stocks, not U.S. stocks, like all those terrible takes. I need to know when I had a bad take and when I had a great take, like a Nostradamus-level take. That was a Nostradamus moment for me.
