  1. It seems we keep having issues. After every fix, we're told this is it, and then we have another report of catastrophic engine failure. So TBD on that. Now the Turbo 4s, admittedly, we haven't had issues with yet. That said, it's a yet. Like everyone's kind of sitting here like, what's going to happen, right? Um, And so that's just the context of how we got here. And the reason is because Jerry has spent a lot of time with the executive vice president of Honda Motor and the American Honda president and CEO. And they brought the topic up. Like we discussed, Jerry talked with them about Honda and the fear they have of Toyota's issue becoming their issue.

  2. Now, from time to time, we do receive questions on our web forums from InvestTalk.com, and here's one that came in just yesterday. It's from our friend Robert, and it's a question about Honda, HMC. It says, Honda is hovering near its 52-week low. Do you see potential in this stock? Well, Robert, if you are a frequent listener of this show, you'll remember that amongst all the rules we have for you all, two of the most important ones are do not buy car companies, do not buy airlines. Now, does that change with Honda? Of course, Japan's second largest automaker. Automobiles about 65% of the revenue, motorcycles 17%. Actually the most motorcycles sold by volume of any company on earth. Well, most recent earnings, operating profit down 48% year over year. Their automobile segment had an operating loss. They had EV write-downs, and their guidance wasn't great either. They are probably the cheapest major automaker at under 10x earnings, but in spite of their $1.1 trillion buyback program being nearly complete and a motorcycle business worth more than the whole company, along with this EV strategy collapse and a failed merger, None of that matters because car businesses and airlines have some of the worst returns out there. This stock has been a perennial underperformer over the past 6 years, not just in its industry, but the market as a whole. So even though it's cheap, probably not a solid investment. That is Honda Motor Corporation, to your HMC. Thanks for watching. Looks like we got plenty of time for one more question, so let's hit a new voicemail now.
