This is according to a report from ProPublica. It cites records and interviews with 3 people familiar with the May 24th ceremony in the Bahamas. The report says Umar Kremlev covered hundreds of thousands of dollars of expenses, including rent for the private island where Don Jr.'s reception was held, along with a fireworks show. Kremlev is head of the International Boxing Federation, which is financed by the Russian state energy firm Gazprom. Back to Wall Street, we're watching shares of Baldwin Insurance Group. They are up more than 7% at the open. Billionaire Michael Dell's family office has teamed with Sequoia Holdings to purchase the insurance distributor in a deal worth about $7.7 billion. Novo Nordisk shares traded in the U.S. are higher by more than 1%. The maker of the Wegovy weight loss drug is shedding half its name to boost its brand against Eli Lilly, which has been going as Lilly more often. Novo Nordisk will now be known as Novo. And Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has backed down after initially saying he would vigorously challenge a $30 million fine for violating salary cap rules.
