  1. Yes, he was. And at the time, I was working for Pottery Barn Kids. I was literally in painting overalls, and I was about to be picked up by my photo team. We were on our way to set, and I had a friend call me from LA, and he just said, "You've gotta turn on the TV. There's big stuff happening." And he was frequently at the Pentagon. His primary client was the Army. He worked for Booz Allen Hamilton. He was private sector, but my family is all— was all in DC. And the questions were, has anyone talked to Dad? And, you know, we, we all had the sense that he was at the Pentagon. And we said, well, we can't reach him because he's probably on the ground helping.

  2. Yeah. So the narrative appears to be shifting. Companies like CSX, Alphabet, ServiceNow, Snap-on, and consulting giant Booz Allen Hamilton have all recently signaled plans to expand hiring, particularly in areas where employees can use AI to become more productive.

  3. Exactly. Yeah. So the narrative appears to be shifting. Companies like CSX, Alphabet, ServiceNow, Snap-on, and consulting giant Booz Allen Hamilton have all recently signaled plans to expand hiring, particularly in areas where employees can use AI to become more productive. We have Ben Zweig from Revelio Labs coming on at 12:10 to talk about the difference in the AI-driven hiring market. Some very interesting data about how AI-enabled firms are hiring faster than those that aren't adopting AI. But at the same time, there's a bunch of weird dynamics in the labor market where there's way more job postings than actual hirings. And so that can look like there's a fall-off and it's harder to get a job, but that might just be because everyone's slopping it up in the job postings. Everyone's like, put up a job posting for everything because I'd love if somebody, if some insane sales guy walks in the door, we might have a position. So let's keep it.

  4. So, Dan, I'm looking at government contractor Booz Allen Hamilton, ticker BAH. Bah! They beat on earnings by 22% despite sales coming in in line with expectations. So yeah, the story here is profitability. EBITDA margins up 110 basis points, well ahead of expectations. And for every $1 they in the quarter, they booked $1.50 in future business. That is a great telegraphing of growth. Dan Booth started the year with a disappointing earnings report. They've been bogged down by all the dovish cuts. But look, never in its history as a public company has Booth Allen Hamilton ever traded at such a severe multiple discount to its peers. I don't think the discount holds up 13% post-earnings. I think there's more to run. It's a really intriguing time for long-term holders to look at Booth Allen Hamilton. Hamilton.

  5. Dan, Lou likes to bring these companies that have funny names, and this one is a booze company that doesn't sell booze. Yeah, well, this one is all over the DC area where I live. I'm very familiar with Booze Allen Hamilton, and it is one of those companies where you see the first word, you get excited, and then you're like, Allen? Oh man, come on. Yeah, Lou, they've been slashing headcount like crazy in the past year or so. Is this company timed for an upswing?
